My Reviews
The story was inspiring and new to me. The people were amazing but I needed more, more, more. Lots of repetitive description about the forest and confusing locations in Warsaw. I would have loved more pictures, a map, more organization about what happened in what order. I really needed to know the people better.
Such a difficult subject and she did it so well.
I loved the historical parts. His childhood was interesting, exciting and well told. I felt the current paarts were a little slower but very important to the book and I felt they picked up steam and resolved well at the end.
I enjoyed anticipating the next twists and turns. It was smart and exciting.
You need to have read the the whole series. I really enjoyed it! Exciting and suspenseful
I enjoy mysteries and historical fiction. this is both. Very creepy and sad but really great to read.
This is a fun read about Eleanor of Aquitaine. Is includes graphic sex and quite a bit of melodrama. The male characters are not fully realized.
I liked it. The characters were not very likeable but they were complex and believable.
loved this series and read each one hungrily.
I enjoy reading abt Am Indians and this is one of the best I've read. Without taking sides Gwynne gives facts and descriptions. He clarifies the situation for the comanches and the settlers without glossing over the atrocities. His tone is conversational and even humorous. A first rate book!
I enjoyed learning about Ben but it was too detailed and long.
