I really enjoyed learning about bonobos while at the same time being entertained by the suspenseful plot. Afterwards, I was inspired to watch a 1978 You-Tube film about the real-life gorilla named Koko who, along with her researcher Penny Patterson, I feel must have been part of the inspiration for this book. I think that it should make for a good discussion about the kinship which humans share with other living creatures.

A surreal Spanish Romeo-and-Juliet-tale which twists and turns and leads you through a gripping labyrinth which is hard to put down. I absolutely loved it!
