Excellent reading, loved the time jump between each chapter in the first half of the book. Loved the way it made me want to have more to read at the end.
Loved it!!! Really enjoyed all the characters in the book and the beautiful descriptions of Savannah. Enjoyed all the gardening references and plants, too. Really liked the way CeeCee saw everything in the South with youthful, idealistic, color-less eyes.
Loved this book. It was such a great read, couldn't put it down. The theme of forgiveness and looking forward was so apparent in this book.
Excellent, fast read--great back and forth between present and past. Much, much better than the movie!!!
Awesome book. In this year of the U.S. Presidential campaign, what a great book to talk about bullying and how it starts in kindergarten. Parents everywhere should read this book and realize how much children see in the home and in the schools when observing adults.
