David Elliott has written a masterpiece and although it is earmarked for Young Adult (YA) audiences, our adult book group thoroughly enjoyed its reading and discussion. Joan's life from home to royal courts and ultimately to the stake is told in verse with designs that keep the reader wondering from page to page what will occur next. I am grateful for an introduction to writing that is strikingly accurate and different in its delivery. Although there were difficult times as I read through the format, it was a GREAT READ! Enjoy.
