This book was really interesting. There are a lot of great talking points and our book club just spent 2.5 hours discussing it!
The plot of this book is just boring. It is like an everyday account of someone with a boring life. When things do happen, it is not believable because the characters are so boring. I wouldn't recommend this book ever.
This wasn't my favorite book. It was slow to start and a rather depressing topic as you read through.
Only one of our Book Club members was able to get through the entire book for our meeting. I made it about 17%...after I saw that there were 4 pages of description on the house they were living in, I gave up. The girl in our group who did read the book explained what happened, and it seemed like it was interesting. The book was just too slow for me. I think this author in particular is really into minute details, and I am not. I like stories to move. This just was not a good fit for our book club.
My book club all enjoyed this book. It moved quickly and you never knew exactly what was going on. It kept you guessing, even at the end of the book. I recommend for an interesting read.
This book was a quick, fun read. There are definitely talking points in the book and it was a good discussion book for my group. I also enjoyed the pictures. Only one picture was a little difficult to look at/read in the kindle edition.
