My Reviews
It was a fast read where you almost feel like you are invaiding someone's private life. It makes you think how you would handle this situation and question your own identity. Do we need our history to live a productive life today or have a happy, productive future?
I feel the main storyline was lost through the many left turns. I have to agree that they played on the heorism stuff too much. I was hoping the book would bring more attention and awareness to the topic of bullying, but was sadly disappointed.
As I read this book I wondered, are any of us really diagnosed correctly? Thanks to brilliant doctors who refuse to give up, Susannah and many others, are on their way to recovery. This book gives you a glimpse into what Susannah\\\'s experience was like and also a little lesson on the inner workings of the brain. I am thankful for her courage and talents in getting her story out and all the blessing others have received from the knowledge as well. This book leaves you wondering how many others in the world have been misdiagnosed and living without hope.
As you begin to read this book, your thoughts travel to where you think it may go. Not so with this book. It was a new and interesting cause and effect that you would not normally see. I enjoyed reading this and could feel the pain of the characters. As our world continues to change this may not be too far from our truth.
I enjoyed the character development, but was left disappointed. I felt we only got a glimpse into the story and what it supposed to tie them together was left incomplete. I didn\'t quit understand the style of writing with the ampersand and thought it was overused.
