My Reviews
I really enjoyed this book. It gripped me straight away, I couldn't put it down. would have given 5 stars but the ending wasn't a good fit for me
Powerful. Left me thinking about the characters days after I finished the book.
The book was ok. I know a great deal of people suggested this book to me but I wasn't blown away by it.
well written, quick and easy read. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times while reading this book.
Our book club is presently reading The Orphan Train, I was definitely happy for the choice because I had been eyeing it but never got around to picking it up. I enjoyed it but found the book sad at times, mostly the way human nature can be so disappointing. That being said, there were also many characters in he story that had redeeming qualities.
My book club was split on this one, some people loved it and some weren't as crazy about it. I thought it was an unfortunate story for the characters involved in the novel.
Extremely well written with a very unique way of telling a story about the Holocaust. Obviously, the subject matter in itself is sad and when the narrator of the story is Death... need I say More? I would definitely recommend to young adults as well as adults.
Great, well written work of historical fiction. It's a great pick for discussion.
Excellent novel.
