My Reviews
Also known as The Other Hand... this is an amazing book where the plot and the relationship of the cast of characters emerges slowly. Shocking but very readable.
A thought provoking novel, both in the concept of our cells living and multiplying outside of our body even after our death; and also the underlying and shocking injustice towards black americans in the 1950's.
This was a beautiful book, written from the perspective of the ever loyal dog. I found the passage when he was accepting his death unbearably sad.
Overall I enjoyed this book, but I found the reliance on letters to tell the story a bit tedious. Also the characters weren't altogether convincing or even likeable.
