I love this book. I didn't want it to end and still wonder what happened to the characters. I learned some wonderful life lessons from this book! I would highly recommend this book for everybody to put on their 'must read' lists.
This book was rich in Native American Culture and the author skillfully immerses the reader into that culture. By the end of the book I was feeling a miriad of emotions, but mostly anger. It was satisfying to know what happened to Wren, and Swallows's decendents were told the truth of her life. I was left wondering about May Dodd's other children.
Who can resist family secrets? This book was written in a way that spoke to nearly everyone in our reading Group. It was a fun mystery that led to great discussions.
