My Reviews
I loved this book. At first, I was reluctant to read it because I didn't like the way a previous book from this author had ended. This book kept in suspense till the very end and I loved the ending.
This book was great. Very informative about circus life.
I liked this book a lot. I only gave it three stars because it did take me a while to read even though it is a short story.
I loved how this book started in the 1700's and spaned till the late 1900's. Each Chapter is a period of time in a differnt persons life but all related somehow.
Juliet inheirts a key to a saftey deposit box in another country. She thought she would be inheirting money from her beloved aunt. She travels abroad to find out what is in the saftey depoist box. There is only a cheap copy of Romeo and Juliet and journal notes. In the process of trying to figure out what the journel means, she discovers secrets about her family history.
This is one of may favorite Jane Austen books. Emma is a rich young lady, who is the lady of the home she shares with her father. Her father is very cautious and thinks every thing is bad for you. Emma thinks of herself as a matchmaker. With her many matchmanking mistakes there is humor throughout the book.
very funny, interesting insight on how parents actions effect children
well written but depressing wood be good for discussion.
I loved this book, I could't put it down.
I loved this book . It's Aberham Lincoln's biography with vampires added. It made me want to read his real biography.
The setting is in a secluded part of England where Jane Austen fans pay to live like the charactrs in her books. What one guest intially thnks is part of the stay turns out to be more menacing.
This book was in the young adult section. I walked by it many times but the cover was too intreging to pass up. The plot is about a secret society that protects the humans from the supernatural. There are mysterious pasts surrounding a lot of the characters. Some are revieled in this book.
I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't at all what I expected from A Steven King book.
I really enjoyed this book. I am not a sports fan but I read this book because it was recommended in a flyer at my library. It is about the life of a baseball player and the life of those around him and how there actions effect each other on and off field.
I started reading this book just expecting to be entertained but it was much more than entertaining. Looking at the title you may think it is about searching for mythical creatures, and it is but some of the descriptions of actual places and people are almost poetic. It also leaves you yearning to travel somewhere exotic.
I could not put this book down . I read the whole book in three days. There are a lot of twists in it. Just a warning, it is a series so not all issues are resolved at the end of this book.
I started reading this book at 11:00 A.M. and between 3 kids and all that goes along with that I still had the book finished by 7:00 P.M.--
that should tell how good it is.
A great book if you are looking for something laugh out loud funny.
I read this book over the period of a few months. I enjoyed the book but the reading is a little difficult, just because of the time period it was written in. It is about a man who commits murder. From what I understood he is mentally unstable. He almost gets away with the murder but eventually turns himself, either because he can,t live with the guilt or the fear of being caught.
A page turner from beginning to end.
