A thought provoking life story of a unique Christian journey.
This book received mixed reviews from our club. Many were totally enthralled while others doubted the veracity. It provoked a lively and thoughtful discussion.
This was a fun, easy read that our club enjoyed very much yet it touch on important topics and showed great character depth and growth.
A beautifully written glimpse into the lives of women during early Biblical times. The main character is wonderfully developed and shows immense personal growth.
This book prompted much discussion about the differences in culture and gave us a look at a recent period in Chinese history that none of us were aware of, even though most of us were adults at the time. There have also been two movies made of the book.
This physic mystery is hard to put down. It delves into how early experiences shape our lives and what constitutes psycotic behavior. The ending was disappointing because it didn't explain all the events which happened in the book.
