GOODBYE FOR NOW is an interesting and insightful book. It starts out a tad slow, but soon the reader is drawn in to the idea of being reunited with deseased friends and loved ones via past computer immages and emails. The main characters really develop nicely. The author does a very good job at making the reader feel like they know the characters, and care about what happens to them. The book is quite sad in the third section, but overall it was a good book with a very interesting and provocative premise.
Enjoyed this book very much. Nice characters. Very satisfying book.
Home front was a good book, but a bit slow to get into. Nice character development. Struggles with moral decisions.
Predictable. It had it\'s moments. Having a blended family can be a challenge for most. It can be very difficult to blend families with teenage daughters.
I really enjoyed this book. I wish I could have given the book 4 1/2 stars (this site only gives you the choice of 4 or 5 stars). Everyone in our book club enjoyed the book very much. We only found a few very minor problems with the story. We all felt the author left some of the characters situations unanswered. These were just very minor observations from the group, so everyone agreed that it was a really good choice and a very satisfying read.
A very fun read from beginning to end.
Wonder is Wonderful! Loved this book! One of the best books I have read this year. Great read for any age. Do not miss this one.
Great story. Surprising for a YA book. Great characters.
Fun for book club or a feel good read.
