Skeletons were flying out of the closet...

We all had our different takes on the story line and writing style; but I will say that it generated a great book club discussion!

We were mixed 50/50 on basic enjoyment of the read. Our group did not enjoy the discussion as well as other books.

This novel offers many serious life topics for discussion. So, if your group likes to share... this one may be for you. Reads slow at times; that is, until you get to the last 100 pages. Oprah's website has discussion questions available.

Persuasive, Inspiring, Insightful

We thoroughly enjoyed the read, the discussion and the movie! Lee brings the town alive... tells the story through the children... offers many social topics for discussion. Fantastic!!
