This book is a rather thinly disguised appeal for reconsideration of the current policy regarding capital punishment in the United States. It explores the inequities that are so deeply rooted in the justice systems of certain locales. The story line is clever, but the story itself unravels a bit too slowly for my taste. I was left with a feeling that the sermon had lasted a little too long.
