This book had a little of everything, humor, drama, suspense and romance. Our book club liked it but agree that we will never look at our canine friends the same!
Very interesting. I am in the medical profession and so it was very interesting to me. Something I needed educating on and I especially enjoyed the family and personal insight into Henrietta's life.
Wonderful book in every way!
Amazing view into how adaptive humans are especially children
Really enjoyable read despite some dark elements in the story. A page turner for me!
Just didn't get into it! Found it somewhat depressing.
Starts very slow. I think it is a good book club read because of the discussion potential, but it is a hard read and very graphic. Liked but not loved it!
Slow start and difficult to keep the characters straight but if you give up on this book, you will miss a suspenceful and very good read!
