Story of 2 families that meet and share lives with their adopted children

Many of us enjoy Anne Tyler's books. Her character studies are strong. This was no exception. But it was far from a favorite.

changes and growing up as African American

Superb play based on life from the time of the Harlem Renaissance through the hard reality of two social cultures colliding. Dreams, aspirations and hopes and failures are a whirlwind glimpse into a struggling socio economic group through a tumultuous time in American history.
