My Reviews
This was an interesting book from a historical prospective. It was a touchy situation that was handled very well. I enjoyed it and wished I could have been a fly on the wall to see the women as they read it and realized it was by about them.
Although it was a little difficult to follow at times in the end it was a very thought-provoking book. It made you think about how women in certain cultures and times in history have had to give up everything for their family. Usually the family not ever knowing the true being of the mom. There were some loose ends that weren't tied up at the end. I wished they were.
I thought that the prospective of the dog was awesome. I have watched "Wilfred" on tv and it has made me wonder about what dogs think....but this was just great. I look at my dog and how much he shows me his love. I wonder what he thinks about when he looks at me. I wish I could really converse with him sometimes.
