OVerall a good read that makes for fun discussion
A little dense at first and character names can be confusing in the beginning but a very compelling novel!
Very enjoyable book, but not a lot to discuss. A nice introduction to this genre.
I enjoyed the book and found it to be easy to read. While I liked it, I did feel that the book left me feeling like something was missing.
Very engrossing book that was an enjoyable read! Everyone in the group enjoyed this book very much!
I really enjoyed the book and found it an easy read. I was eye-opening and heart -wrenching to her this account. Provided lots of discussion for our group of Moms.
While the book is enjoyable and includes some interesting points for conversation, some of the club member found the book hard to relate to because of the academia setting. Also, most characters are interesting however a few are annoying.
I really enjoyed this book and would read it again!
I could not wait to finish this book and then was so sad when I did. I loved it!
I liked the book. Some of the characters were too much like caricatures. It provided for a lot of interesting discussion among our group of stay-at-home & working moms.
I liked it.
This book is provides an interesting perspective on how live changes without us realizing how dramatic small changes can be over time. A great read that had me wanting to keep reading late into the night!
I finished the book thinking something was missing and that Tina Fey did not reveal much. that being said she did make me laugh and addressed many issues that make for great discussion. See dailydelirium for great discussion questions.
perfect beach read because it is fun and light! Makes you wonder if that really is what 11 yr old boys think about!
Lots of insight into what it is to be a teen now and good conversations about how much parents should know
An interesting and fun look into a spectacular slice of life. Some story lines are more interesting than others.
I really enjoyed this book as I really connected to the main character\\\'s story despite how tragic it was. I also found the book very informative and interesting. It was nice to learn about the ballet of that time and how it worked.
The book begins slowing and seems so dark but in third act it moves so quickly and you are completely rooting for the main characters! Lots of great things to discuss and much to learn about the North Korea. Read the author insights!
