Intense and thought provoking, I really loved this book. It's especially poignant for those of us who share our lives with animal companions. The author delves into the bonds we form, choices we make, and the communication barriers that exist between humans and also between humans and animals. Interesting characters, both human and animal, contribute to a fast paced storyline.
