The House at Riverton

Usually like this genre, but found the book very predictable - basically everything I thought would happen, did. Disappointing.

Kite Runner

Although a very difficult read, one of the most rewarding. Hosseini into a world and culture so unknown and different than my own. There are moments you're terrified, and then moments of magnificent inspiration.

A Thousand Splendid Suns

One of the most powerful and inspiring books I've ever read. Loved both this book and "Kite Runner", but I think I felt more connected and moved by this one because it focused on female characters.
