Gloomy, Confusing, Pointless
Notes on a Scandal delves into the interesting relationship of a prim, old, school teacher and her obsessive nature

This book sparked a lot of discussion because it's not only about the relationship between teacher and student but mainly the relationship between Barbara, the older school techer, and Sheba, the young pottery teacher involved in a sexual relationship with a student.

Adventurous, Dramatic, Brilliant
Loved the story but it felt a bit convoluted.

The book definitely kept me turning pages, but some bits felt cheesy. A good, entertaining read.
