My Reviews
This was a fast read. It explored family relationships and history with a touch of the supernatural to keep it all interesting. I looked forward to reading the 3 books in this series and am eagerly anticipating the release of the 4th novel this summer to see what happens next.
This book was required reading in high school for me. It is a book that has stuck with me since then. I would recommend all read this and think about the message the book is putting forward. Could spark interesting discussion in a book club as well.
A story about life long friends from law school who share the secret of an accident one summer. A great story about friendships and family and the secrets we keep hidden from each other and why.
I thought this book was an excellent read. The characters are interesting and make you want to know more. I liked the way the book weaved between past and present, both as a way for you to learn more about the characters and move the story along. I was rooting for Victoria from the start of the book, and loved all the characters we met along the way. I finished this book wanting to know what happened to them next.
The other piece of this book I really enjoyed was learning about the Victorian language of flowers and how they used flowers to deliver messages and convey meaning.
This is our book club read for April, and I can't wait to discuss it with the members of the club.
