My Reviews
State of the Onion (White House Chef Mysteries, No. 1) by Julie Hyzy
Fun, Unconvincing, Informative
Not a book that hooks youThe book was an "okay" read, but there's not a whole lot else to say about it. The characters were not particularly likeable or believable, and the plot was pretty unreal. Basically, the main character, Ollie, is able to save the day when the Secret Service cannot. The interactions between the characters seemed staged and parts of this "mystery" were more slapstick than anything else. The storyline was okay.....but I'm not going to read any more in the series.
