Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald

tender is the night

This book was a total waste of time. The jazz age was too self-indulgent, frivolous and boring.

I loved this book, one of the best I have read this year. I learned alot of history about that time period. I had a personal connection because my grandmother's sisters and brothers grew up in an orphanage after their father was murdered while he was a sheriff.

Between the Shades of Gray

This was a well written book about World War 11 and how the Russians were so cruel to the people they dominated in Eastern Europe. It was very informative but disturbing to read about the violence and cruelty.
