The bookclub loved this book. The way the author put her words together was just beautiful. The discussion it evoked was interesting, and every one could relate in at least one way to the many parts of this book. A few of the members are going to purchase the book as a gift book or one for their own libraries because they liked it so much.
One of our members is an AA member and she said that the part about the addiction was right on and has also recommended it to her group. Several members said it took a bit to get into the book, but once they did they couldn't put it down and needed tissues. I felt like the book was like a friendship--taking time to get to know the person. This is one of the few books that my bookclub has done that every member liked.
