My Reviews
A good eploration of the American Ambassador to Germany during the 1930's. It gives an interesting look at the politics involved leading up to the horific events of that time.
A good historical novel based at the time of the Civil War. It is about the desire of a young lady to become a doctor at times that this was unheard of. Some points can be taken as somewhat contemporary, but it really is a look at a determined woman with a goal in mind. It is not groundbreaking though.
A thought provoking speculation about the Kennedy assassination that has several twists encouraging mental contemplation. Great for those who remember the day.
Although a big best seller, this book does not seem anywhere near as good as the hype would indicate. The characters are all unlikable. The plot does have some interesting twists, but that is not enough to make this the page turner it has been promoted as.
A semi-autobiographical novel by one of the best American authors ever. This is one of his best, yet one that is rather obscure regarding public awareness. It is an excellent story set in the early 1900\'s. Characters are varied and unique.
