Remembering

The story is interesting as it weaves back & forth between what she remembers from 10 years ago and what is happening present day to her. I felt like the story captivated my attention to figure out how it would end. I enjoyed how the author explained bits and pieces to make the story come together for me...Great read!

a different time

An interesting read for me, but not my favorite book. It had a good story line, but hard to follow sometimes. Definitely a darker book to read with slaves being beaten and raped.

Easy read and enjoyable story

This historical fiction book set in two different periods has a different spin on 'time-travel' where the main character lives in two different time periods over 150 years apart. Easy to follow and quick to read through this book. Enjoyed the ending!
