My Reviews
A great perspective that leaves you looking up more information on occupied France during World War II. Learned about the secret lives in Paris, written in a beautiful fictional story.
Very Long Novel, over 700 pages, but wonderfully and engaging spanning over 300 years. I thought It would be boring after awhile but it never became dull. If you are from the Northeast and have been to the city or live near the city of New York it is great historical fiction.
Life lesson through war and the atrocities that it can afflict but morality and humanity can prevail all through life in this book.
Wonderful Non Fiction, well written. The humanity of the lepers and the prisoners was powerful and a reminder to us all that we are human beings to love. Loved the history of the lepers in this country and how they survive and breaking of the myths surrounding this disease.
Great read to understand Paris in the late 1800"s. it is historical Fiction that clearly is very authenitc. Great follow up read after reading Paris, by Edward Ruther ford, a few months earlier.
A good inside look at ahistorical fiction approach to the Vatican. It truly is a lovely story and a classic.
A historical novel based on Judy Garlands young life as an actress. I found the novel to be compelling to look up more of Judy Garlands tragic life. Hollywood at it;'s worse. Written in a beutiful way through the eyes, Of Frank Baums wife, the author of the Wizard of. Oz.
