My Reviews
I liked the book but thought the characters were deplorable, each in their own unique way. It was well written. I actually read the book fairly quickly because I was curious to see how the characters would "evolve" next.
This book is extremely well written and an easy read despite the sad subject of child abuse. I was hooked from page one (which is rare) and appreciated Fran's current hope aptly intertwined throughout the book with the sad tale of her youth. You don't dare believe people can behave the way she describes but the writing brings it to life vividly in your imagination. Thank you for sharing your childhood story. The strength of forgiveness is awe inspiring.
This book is beautifully written, especially in the beginning which may come off as a slow read to some, but let your self get immersed because about halfway through, the book twists and turns and it very much a page turner. When I finished the book, I thought, \"OMG! My favorite book!\"
This is a great read! I literally couldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t put this book down and when I had to finally, I kept thinking about Sarah and what was going to happen next. There are spiritual undertones throughout but it is nicely done without being overly religious and adds yet another angle to the story. The next book cannot come out soon enough for me!
This was a good book. It starts off a little slow, but get beyond the first bit and the story pulls you in for a very easy and enjoyable read. Characters are well defined.
