My Reviews
The Lady in Gold: The Extraordinary Tale of Gustav Klimt's Masterpiece, Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer [Deckle Edge] by Anne-Marie O'Connor
Informative, Difficult, Insightful
The Lady ib GoldThis book was long and wordy. While I learned some new information I didn't know about WWII the way it jumped around from one branch of relatives to another was confusing. It would have been helpful to have a family tree to keep everyone straight. Many of the family went through horrific events during the war and the book showed their courage tenacity and endurance.
The Forgotten Garden: A Novel by Kate Morton

Dramatic, Interesting, Adventurous
The Forgotten GardenI really enjoyed reading about the generations of women, their individual sagas and how the whole book tied the characters together. I especially liked how the "fairy tales" were woven into the real lives of the characters. Great Book!
