Feather Crowns by Bobbie Ann Mason
Difficult, Slow, Boring
Our book club struggled to finish this book. Most of the members did not. While this book sparked a discussion on multiple births, our club found this book overly descriptive and boring. We ended up talking about the Dionne quints from Canada and how their lives evolved due to their own birth. It seems there were many issues that might have been explored, such as the main character's relationship with her husband both before and after the birth of the quintuplets and her relationship with her daughter. These were skimmed over. It was painfully boring and most of us did not finish this book.
