My Reviews
It was a little hard to understand and follow in the beginning, but once I got into it I loved it. I didn't want it to end. I laughed and cried through out the entire book. It was a true love story.
The story line is very interesting; how one decision to protect your family can end up tearing them all apart. It was well written, but seemed to move very slow. I kept waiting for some suprise or excitement to happen and it never did. It's not a bad book, but it's not a book I would readily recommend to others.
I really enjoyed this book. He wrote in such detail that I could imagine what the town in Afghanistan looked like. It was a very captivating story all the was through to the end. It was not the usual, easy lighthearted book I am used to reading, but it is definately one to read.
It was a very disturbing story with explicit details. It was very intersting to hear this story through the eyes of the child. It was a very different view of how I always imagined heaven too. It is a worth while read, but be ready to be a litle uneasy that this could happen to any child.
This book was fabulous. It was an easy read and yet so many unexpected twists and turns throughout. This is a great book to read on vacation because it is like getting the juiciest gossip over and over again. It does make you think about what is really right and wrong and what you would do in the same situation. I immediately went out and read the sequel Something Blue which is also very good.
