This book is about stories told through the relationship of two women, as dissimilar as could be, a black psychologist, age 53 and a Indian uneducated immigrant, age 32. Their friendship crosses the boundaries of a professional one. This is the author\\\'s 6th novel, she is a wonderful writer,the voice of one character is excellent broken English, there is great symbolism throughout and fantastic descriptions. The ending is loose,the ending leaves you creating your own.
