My Reviews
A wonderful portrait of a family in the throes of grief one year after a man - who is husband, father, son and brother to the characters. The book follows the family as they relate in different ways to the loss and how they relate to each other. Once you pick it up, you will not be able to put it down. It's one of the best books I have read this summer. And, as far as a book selection goes, this one is one that will get you talking.
When Amy goes missing on their fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne doesn't know what to think. But soon, he is the No. 1 suspect for murder and has to figure out what happened to his wife. Told in alternating story lines between Nick and Amy (using her diary), Gone Girl makes you wonder, "How well can you ever know someone?"
