Boring, Informative, Optimistic

A Hundres Flowers

A thoughtful, wonderful and surprising book. Everyone enjoyed it. About half of our group were disappointed with the ending, or lack of ending. The others felt it was a thoughtful ending. The discussion was wonderful and we would recommend this book for all other book clubs.

Great book club selection. It generated meaningful discussion and intense group involvement. Everyone in the club participated in the discussion of this book. That is rare.

Too complicated and dense for a book club selection but I liked the book. It does not do well as a book for group discussions.
