My Reviews
this book was informative about the way the American-Japanese families were treated after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It was a story about love, honor and friendship. well worth the read.
A little slow moving, and reminiscent of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"the blind side\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" A very nice gesture to help an under privileged boy, and how iy changed his lifeWas
A touching story that stays with you and brings up discussions and feelings toward assisted suicide
Everyone in our bookclub loved this book. It captured you right from the start, and the story moved along well. At our book club we all wore Dapney headbands and had a beach theme.
I DIDN\\\'T LIKE THE FORMAT OF THE BOOK, IT JUMPS FROM CHARATER AND DATE WHICH IS DISTRACTING FROM THE STORY THAT WAS VERY SLOW MOVING
once again a great read by Adriana Trigiani. the family dynamics and characters are true to life. It makes you want to put on a pot of homemade "gravy" pour some wine and have the bookclub girls over for a sunday spaghetti dinner
