An all over fun read! Great for book club discussion as to "What would you do?'
So glad this was recommended to me.
This book was not liked by our book club. We decided to read it because it was seemed short. ( A good thing at Christmas time). However, although it was short most people didn't finish it. It was not worth the time.
I liked this book and I would have rated this book 4 stars or higher, but can’t justify it due to the ending and the ampersands. I do think it is a worthwhile read, but be prepared for disappointing ending.
I liked this book very much--until the ending. Very disappointing ending. And I found the use of ampersands to be extremely distracting.
Overall, I liked the book. It was unique and an enjoyable read.
Liked this book. Quite the page turner with unusual twists. Made for a great book club discussion.
I liked this book! For me it was a page turner. I liked the intrigue and twist at the end.
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet turned into one of our best discussion. A lot of historical information and what would you do type of questions. Plus good discussions on family dynamics.
Though provoking. I believe it would make for a good book club discussion.
As a group we liked The Secret Keeper. It made for a great discussion.
This book was so much better than I expected. It was this month's selection and I was dreading, but it proved worth the time. It's different, not what expected.
This book is brutal graphic in some parts. Sensitive readers beware. Overall, we liked the book and it gave fodder for a great discussion. Especially interesting was discussing the interview with Chris Cleave about writing the book.
