The fictional story depicts a part of history (WW2) from a new perspective. I personally like the 'letter writing' format but others did not.

In these unique circumstances, what would you do?? The descriptive writing makes you feel you were right there -- heartbreaking at times, joyful other times. Interesting.

It took a while to get the story going but once it did, it was great............surprise ending for me.
