My Reviews
Light hearted- but insightful, showing a personal view of one man\'s journey through his life which is affected by a personality disorder. His search for a life partner showcases this particular condition, but also provides a humorous glimpse at ways he has been able to cope within a world that finds some of his behavior bizarre.
An intriguing look into the life of a boy caught in the prison of his own body. Unable to communicate in any way, he slowly becomes aware of his surroundings and circumstances but cannot relay this through a voice or even the simplest physical responses. The journey he takes to finally gain recognition and be "seen" is eye opening (forgive the pun). The book reminds us of the humanity of all persons regardless of their perceived handicaps or deficits.
Internet monopoly and how intrusive (left unchecked) it could be in our private lives. It made one realize how much they already know when we go on Facebook and other social media sites. The scenario in this book of fiction is not all that far fetched...scary!
Follows a dysfunctional family that includes siblings and a parent that have very little depth or interesting qualities fighting over money.
