Interesting, Dramatic, Informative
Made me a Philippa Gregory Fan

This is one of my favorite books. Up there with The Red Tents, Memoirs of a Geisha and Gone With the Wind. Great use of history as a fictional backdrop. Has turned me on to all things Tudor and all books by Gregory.

 
Dramatic, Insightful, Interesting
Controversial Subject Matter. Caution for new book clubs who might be new friends.

Slow to catch on at first. Different voice per chapter was confusing at first, but necessary looking back. Book made me cry and then made me mad at author. Very thought provoking and compelling.
