My Reviews
It really was a strange and sad story. Unfortunately, there probably are families like that. Her husband should have recognized that she needed help a lot sooner. I felt sorry for the daughter.
I had high hopes and was shocked at how bad this book was. Everyone was corrupt and I hated the ending.
It is so sad to read the horrible things that happened to the people that lived there.
I was a very interesting story. It was sad what happened to the characters, but it was a good story that will continue to live on.
It was just a nice story. Nothing exciting. It was just slow, and I was disappointed that the main character didn't get her "lived happily ever after" story
It was adventurous. Didn't want to put it down. Wanted to find out how it ended.
It was interesting to hear her pass through the places I am familiar with. She seems a little crazy and self-serving to me. I\'m glad that she thinks she found herself
I liked his story. Gives us hope.
Loved this book. Through tragedy there can be success and love. Loved the fairy tale ending.
I couldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t put it down and read it over one weekend. It is a love story that ends well.
This was a very good book. Even though it wasn't true. It was written in a way that you could believe it happened.
A book about selflessness. Katie is called to do God\\\\\\\'s work, which she does willingly and with great care and compassion. A Mother Theresa in the making.
Interesting how one secret can change lives. There was more than one secret in this book.. It was interesting in how the story ended with Easter. I could see how it paralleled with Lent and these people were lost and searching in the desert. When Easter came they found their answers.
I really liked this book. It was interesting to learn about what happened in our history and how being an orphan in present day presents similar challenges. It was also a message of hope and survival.
Just a great delightful story.
The narrative just went on and on with nothing too exciting. Then the ending was abrupt, and I just didn't get how that could happen. I'm sure she could have gotten out of that mess but there was no explanation as why she couldn't. It was unconvincing and confusing.
