My Reviews

Life Changing, Dramatic
Secret kept and revealed.

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

Adventurous, Dramatic, Brilliant
Too many layers, should stick with the main plot.

Romantic, Informative, Beautiful
40 year love story. Reconciliation of father and son.

When a young Chinese American cannot communicate with his parents because he is forbidden to speak Cantonese he turns to a jazz musician, a school cook, and his first love - a Japanese American girl. Told over a 40 year expanse. I recommend that you have a street map of Seattle to further enjoy reading this bitter-sweet novel.

Interesting, Poorly Written, Informative
Steve Martin's expertise

Steve Martin's expertise about art is interesting, but I didn't really get the point other than an ambitious young lady crosses the line of ethics and behavior.
