This book was a fun read. There were times when you really had to know a little more about the Latina culture in order to appreciate it even more. However, my reading group which consists of all ethnicities, enjoyed the book and the insight it gave them. The level at which the book takes you, its almost as if there was a movie playing in your head. It was great conversation and included an array of topics. You rock Sucias! We definitely agreed that Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez is an author that we will keep an eye on in the future!
