My Reviews
Depressing, not at all a typical Jodi Picoult book. All about Nazis. Not at all what I want out of a novel. Very predictable as well.
Nothing to speak of. If it weren't for her name, I doubt it would ever have been published. Unremarkable.
Great story written by the perspective of one who has early onset Alzheimers. Important, as this disease will touch us all. You laugh and cry. Very well written.
Poorly written, very slow.
Well written. Sorry, but I don't remember much else as I read it quite a while ago.
I've read this at least ten times since it was assigned reading in eighth grade. Imagine a future where all books are burned and each wall of a room is a TV screen. Scary how close we may be coming.
This is a short, quickly read classic. The friendship between the two main characters is very touching. Few books are written about people of lesser intellect that are so touching and memorable.
... but I wouldn't buy it new. Get it used or from the library.
Just when you think the mom can't get any worse... she does! Very sad that people like this exist. Makes you look for ways you can help children in these situations. Even on your worst day as a mom, take comfort that you are never this bad.
Loved it!!
