My Reviews
A very good read, even if some of the scenes in the book are \\\"Jules Vern\\\" like. It does pull you right in and you are committed to see the adventure through to the end.
Great Writing and wonderfully addictive story. The Author really brings a voice to the otherwise silent first wife of Ernest Hemmingway. Made me want to read several Hemmingway books just to relive the Paris scene all over again.
This isn\\\'t a war story, rather a story about the human race, a love story, a tragic story, an inspiring story, but not a war story. You will become adicted to finding out the how, when, and why as you listen to the narrator unfold the story of a small girl who steals a book!
This was a well written story that pulled me in from the first chapter to the end! Highly addictive and a heartwarming story without being too marmey. The characters are all well defined and each one comes to life as the story progresses. Love, love loved it!
A wonderfully addictive story about a strong woman, a family, a people and the love that binds us all to each other. It is very well written and so easy to read. I can't to continue the journey with the next books! Best of all it's based on a true journey.
