Coming from an Amish community, our book club members found this book very interesting!
The subject matter was an excellent topic for our group (great discussion matter), but all agreed the book was poorly written.
Many discussable topics for our club.
While this story only garnered a 60% approval rating from my club, our discussion on Gene Stratton-Porter was a hit! We discussed many aspects of her life and looked at pictures and info from the book, "Nature's Storyteller: The Life of Gene Stratton-porter".
We really enjoyed reading this book! We had a chance to Skype with the author (DiAnn Mills), and what a sweet, sweet person she is. This book was filled with adventure and excitement, and even some romance thrown in for good measure. We are eagerly awaiting the next book in the series!
