My Reviews
This book stays with you after you are finished. If you are a parent it is particularly disturbing...How well do you really know your children?..How far would you go to defend them.
I thought I had figured out the ending but it surprised me.
I loved this book. The character development was wonderful and the story kept you hooked. I read late into the night.
I am a day hiker and found 'Wild' extremely interesting, frightening and engaging . I did not want to put it down. It's a woman's version of 'A Walk in the Woods'.
I loved the book & characters. Light, easy reading. It's the first Maeve Binchy book that I have read...can't wait to read more.
I enjoyed this book but don't think is was as well written as The Davinci Code. The descriptions of Florence and Venice were great. Our book club had a very lively and thought provoking discussion which was a bit bit surprising.
I thought it was beautifully written, although, a little confusing at times because I could only read 25 or 30 pages a sitting.
Great story.....interesting characters...a very enjoyable read.
Fanny Flagg did it, again. The All-Girl Filling Station\\\\\\\'s Last Reunion: A Novel is a delightful story of the WASPS, women aviators during WWII. I enjoyed the book while learning about these inspiring, brave and adventurous women.
Our book club loved this book. The story was very compelling and beautifully written.
Glitter and Glue is an enjoyable book, specially for mothers and their grown daughters.
Our book club loved this book.
I enjoyed this book very much. I never knew much about Ellis Island and found Clara's story very interesting. The author did a great job intertwining the two stories brilliantly using the scarf.
