My Reviews
The Goldfinch: A Novel (Pulitzer Prize for Fiction) by Donna Tartt
Dark, Slow, Interesting
The GoldfinchThe story starts off very interesting and drew me in. However, I was continually disappointed in the self-destructive tendency of the main character. I found the book to be a downer.
On Toby's Terms (A DOG BOOK WITH A SURPRISE HAPPY ENDING) by Charmaine Hammond
Unconvincing, Poorly Written, Slow
On Toby's TermsAs a magazine article, it might have been cute and mildly interesting. I found it bland and boring. The author dragged out the storyline with little point. I get it, he was a loving, friendly dog that helped people. I believe many people benefit from those animals.
