Easy, quick read with many poignant moments.
Both the artifacts and the book's characters were remarkable.
Not a deep book by any means. But a fun break from many of the books we have been reading. If you want to get silly; if you want to read at your leisure and take lots of breaks, this book is for you.
The book was interesting, but not compelling. Some of the premises were hard to accept...i.e. leaving your children and traveling so far to a dangerous place. The ending was rushed.
A simple example of the deterioration of a culture. A breath of fresh air reading of a simple, sweet lifestyle of the past.
All friendships have a different flavor and depth. This story had a new, yet interesting and loving tale.
