My Reviews
This book made me examine my conscience on what I would do in the situation the characters find themselves. This book is about a lot of sadness and loss in peoples lives, yet still looking for love and happiness.
I couldn't put this book down! The author did an excellent job of weaving the two stories together and you wanted success and happiness for both main characters throughout the book. It was an interesting story of showing how two apparently diverse people really weren't that different at all.
This book was incredibly written, having the story told from death's perspective was new, fresh and definitely entertaining. The underlying story was beautiful in a very awful time. Finding family, love and friendship during a horrific war, and acceptance of someone who you are suppose to fear was wonderful.
A lighthearted book about coming of age and finally understanding your parents. Had a great book club discussion about kids, college age life and know adult hood and how views on our own parents/spouses change over time.
